I spent the day at the Mullin Museum today, photographing Bugatti, Delahaye, Hispano - Suiza, and other rare, beautiful automobiles, and some unrestored Bugatti from the Schlumpf collection, and will be posting them for the next several days... here is a quick look

above is the worlds highest priced car ever sold, at between 30 and 40 million. Ralph Lauren has one just like it, and the two are the only completely original Type 57SC Atlantics in existence http://www.sportscardigest.com/gooding-and-company-sells-1936-bugatti-type-57sc-atlantic/

In the next couple of days or weeks, however long it takes to get the photos posted, you'll see a lot of Bugatti, Talbot Lago, Avion Voisin, Delahaye, Hispano Suiza, Charron, De Dion Bouton, Auto Union, Peugeot, and Renault

Great car cover

One reason SEMA is so damn fun to walk around, the new things that manufacturers show up with every year

A new take on a UPS truck was at SEMA

The Takeout T

the only T among nine other ’29 to ’34 Fords at the 2011 Grand National Roadster Show, it came away with the AMBR Most Outstanding Engine award, the Jalopy Journal Pick (which most traditional hot rodders would consider the most prestigious), and the Triple Gun Award of Excellence
Russ is a member of the Spokane Washington car club, Thee Inland Emporers, and one of their logos happens to look like a T hot rod in the shape of a Chinese food “to go” carton. And that’s where “The Takeout T” name comes from.

The full size Matchbox truck at SEMA, a cool search and rescue look

Trucks and the GT 500 Shelby Mustang from SEMA's Ford Racing area

This is a different one below

This is a raffle car, buy tickets, get a chance (I doubt it) of winning this and a new GT500 Shelby Mustang, plus the 50 thou to pay off the taxes for winning

The first Shelby AC Cobra, still owned by Carroll Shelby, and one of the very few still a one owner Cobra

the other I know of two others, as CSX 2305 was a one owner, but just sold last month http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/10/one-owner-1964-shelby-ac-cobra-289.html

You ought to know I've already posted about them, and taken photos several times of the Hank's CSX 2227 http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/07/hassler-spring-was-to-counter-top-heavy.html ,

The most famous person and longest owner of a Cobra besides Carroll is Herbie Hancock CSX 2006  http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/03/herbie-hancock.html  or read the story about Herbie and his Cobra at http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/all-cobra-talk/96650-hank-williams-cobra-289-did-he-order-two-barrel-originally-2.html

Vic Edelbrock's highboy, set 13 world speed records, and is an icon of streamlined dry lakes racers

Looks like about 4 or 5 inches of lift
