The Valley Custom '38 Ford convertible sedan at the Grand National Roadster Show

  1. Interesting. I had a '39 Conv sedan back in the day (early '60s) and the most common custom touch was '40 headlights to change to sealed beams (as in the Hop Up pics) while now they this one has a '40 grille with '39 headlights! SHuld have stuck with the '38-'39 taillights though. Mine still had the stock top, but '40 headlights, nosed and decked, dual spots, white naugahyde interior, with running boards removed and body molded down over the frame rails. Couple of pics of it here: http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2012/12/19/family-albums-n-four-speeds-the-murphy-familys-cars/
