1938 Cadillac V8 operated in New Zealand. The term "service car" is perhaps unique to New Zealand, where it meant a long haul passenger vehicle that was operated between like a bus today

    This one most likely started life as one of the several 1930 Cadillac 353 sedans that Newmans bought second hand in the US in the early to mid 1930s and then converted to service cars. A few still survive but I don't know of their condition.
