Garage Du Pont, the historic gas station on the Glienicker bridge, Potsdam, Germany

Today it is one of the last remaining petrol stations from the 1930s. Designed by the Potsdam architects of Estorff and Winkler in line with a country house, the building complex has always been harmoniously integrated into its surroundings along the Berliner Strasse. This gas station, which was built between 1937 and 1938 within the scope of the planned extension of Reichsstraße 1, is still used as the only one of several petrol stations along Neue Königstrasse.
